After completing this course the student will:
- Know the basic principles of prevention and control of pests and diseases.
- Be able to identify the most important pests and diseases in horticulture with more information regarding their characteristics.
- Design a management plan for the control and prevention of pests and diseases.

- The course material is in English. Course participants may communicate with the course leader in Afrikaans if preferred.
